ASEM Conference - Asia Europe and the Future of Regional Economic Integration

Korean Ministry of Finance and Economy, Slovenia Ministry of Finance and the European Commission will co-organise an ASEM Conference preceeding the 8th ASEM Finance Ministers' Meeting in Jeju Island, Korea. This Conference, as part of ASEM dialogue facility, will discuss financial aspects pertinent to bi-regional co-operation, as well as the future of Regional Economic Integration.

The Conference will cover the following issues:

• ASEM: A Bridge for Co-operation and Integration
• Deepening Asian Integration: the Relevance of the European Experience
• Can Regional Financial Integration Enhance Financial Stability?
  
• EU-Asia Growing Interdependence: Policy implications
• Towards an EU-Asia Strategic Partnership: Challenges and Opportunities
