The 10th ASEM Finance Ministers’ Meeting (ASEM FinMM10) was held on 15 October 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand. It was attended by the Finance Ministers and representatives from 41 ASEM Member Countries, and the Vice President of the European Commission (EC) and European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro. It was also attended by the Finance Minister of Bangladesh and the Deputy Finance Minister of Norway, the Director of ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO), the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), a Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank (ECB), the Director of European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), the Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and representative from the World Bank (WB) as invited guests.
The theme for discussion at the 10th ASEM Finance Ministers’ Meeting was “Strengthening a Dynamic Partnership, Sharing a Dynamic Growth” which focussed on how to share Asia’s dynamic growth with Europe and the rest of the world so as to resume prosperity to both regions.
