The 10th ASEMFMM was held in the Royal Palace of Godollő, near the Hungarian capital Budapest. The theme “Working Together on Non-Traditional Security Challenges”, focused on cooperation in the fields of non-traditional security challenges, such as natural disasters, terrorism, the spread of weapons of mass destruction, illegal arms trafficking and organised crime, and migration departing from crisis points.

The ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, in addition to pursuing the ASEM dialogue under the first and third pillars (political dialogue, co-operation in other areas), is responsible for the overall coordination of the ASEM process.
