ASEM SMEs Eco-Innovation Center (ASEIC) and Small & Medium Business Administration (SMBA) of the Republic of Korea held the 1st of ASEM Working Group Seminar on SMEs Eco-Innovation Competence on 10-11 November, 2015 at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul, Korea.
Carrying the theme SMEs’ Eco-Innovation Competence, aimed at elaborating common ground to support SMEs of participating countries toward sustainable growth, the proposed working group discussed crucial agendas on the development of SMEs in Asia and Europe, with the particular objectives to:
- Improve SMEs’ capacity of eco-innovation for sustainable development, human resource skill, mind-set, relevant technology, management, and business linkage,
- Provide sound service guidelines and support the environment for eco-innovation of SMEs, and;
- Develop opportunities to foster cooperation among SME in the ASEM region.
