The 2nd ASEM Sustainable Development Seminar: Water and River Basin Management – a Green Growth Approach, was adopted at the 9th ASEM Summit (ASEM9). It was designed to promote and deepen ASEM dialogue and cooperation, and to provide insights into how ASEM members plan for sustainable development, with a focus on water resource and river basin management and green growth agenda.
The Seminar was hosted by Viet Nam, in coordination with Bulgaria, Hungary, Lao PDR, Romania and Thailand.
