During the two-day forum, participants from the different regions have the possibility to exchange their experience and knowledge in the field of university-business cooperation in several sessions and workshops.
Among others, different approaches should be presented to identify demanded jobs and skills needed in today’s market. Furthermore, it should be discussed what skills and competences educational institutes should have instilled in students before they enter the workforce. In addition, the role of career education and career services at higher education institutions should be explored.
This seminar was a follow-up of the 1st ASEM University Business Forum which has taken place in Bangkok/Thailand in March 2010.
