On the occasion of ASEM day, the Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, organized 2 briefings about ASEM on 7 March 2017, at the Chiang Mai University and on 13 March 2017, at the Maha Sarakham University.

The purpose of the briefing is to raise awareness among the youth and people, as well as promote upcoming ASEF youth programmes. The briefing attracted young university students and locals. In total, there were more than 500 people that attended the briefing.
