The ASEM DUO Sweden 2022 is open for applications from 11 April 2022 until 24 May 2022.

The ASEM DUO Sweden Program is sponsored by the Swedish Council for Higher Education with an aim to promote exchanges of people between Sweden and Asian ASEM member countries on a balanced and permanent basis.

Under the ASEM DUO Sweden Programme, undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in universities can have financial support for their exchange studies. The Swedish home institution will select an EU national student enrolled at the home institution to send to the Asian host institution, and the same Asian host institution will selected an Asian student enrolled at the host institution to send to the Swedish home institution.

The ASEM DUO Sweden 2022/2023 is for exchange projects starting in August 2022 and ending before September 2023.

The duration of the fellowship is limited to one semester (or 4 months, whichever comes earlier). The amount of the fellowships is standardized as follows: 3,500 Euros for Asian students and 3,500 Euros for Swedish students in a pair, in high-income country. For middle and low income-countries, the Asian student gets 4,000 Euros and the Swedish student gets 3,000 Euros.
