ASEM Seminar on“Sustainable Connectivity and Quality Infrastructure” was held on 12 September 2018 prior to APGC5 & ASEM SOM2.
As Ministers recognised in the 13th ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, Asia and Europe have strong, mutual interest in enhancing connectivity between the two regions. At that time Kazuyuki Nakane, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan committed to host the Seminar on Connectivity to promote the discussion and cooperation among ASEM Partners in this regard.
