This seminar will take place in Nha Trang, Vietnam on 26-27 April 2010. The Seminar will be co-sponsored by Vietnam, Japan, the Philippines and Singapore.

The Seminar will provide a timely opportunity for participants to exchange their experiences of overcoming the global financial crisis, development models and the restructuration needed for the international financial system beyond the crisis. The Seminar will also discuss the geo-economic roles of Asia and Europe as well as measures to further strengthen economic cooperation among ASEM members toward sustainable development and the Millenium Development Goals. The outcomes of the Seminar will be submitted to the ASEM 8 Summit in Brussels in October this year.
