Ahead of the the 13th ASEM Summit, Cambodia hosted a Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) Retreat on 1-2 March 2021. The SOM was held via videoconference chaired by H.E. LUY David, Secretary of State and ASEM SOM Leader for Cambodia, with participation of all ASEM Senior Officials.
The Retreat unanimously supported Cambodia to reschedule the 13th ASEM Summit to the last quarter of 2021 due to the ongoing risks posed by COVID-19.
