During the 5th ASEM Education Ministers’ Meeting (ASEM ME5) on 27-28 April 2015 in Riga, Latvia, the reports from the first phase of ASEM Working Group Meeting on Innovative Competences and Entrepreneurship Skills were submitted by the Chairman, senior adviser Mr. Jørn Skovsgaard from the Danish Ministry of Education.

ASEM ME5 gave full endorsement to the recommendations and a couple of countries expressed their interest in joining the group for the work in the next biannual term.

Subsequently the Republic of Korea has generously offered to take the chair for the second phase of the work and Denmark has committed herself to ensure a smooth transfer of the chairmanship and maintain its support for the work.
