To mark the 20th Anniversary celebrations of ASEM in 2016, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, together with the Confederation of Indian Industry, organized an ASEM Youth Dialogue on Saturday, 26 March 2016 in New Delhi, India.

The ASEM Youth Dialogue focused on strengthening the links between young people of Asia and Europe, the underlying aim being to promote greater awareness and understanding between the two regions. The young people participating in the event were from a variety of disciplines including entrepreneurs, professionals, technologists, artists, etc. The idea was to build new networks amongst our Leaders of tomorrow and increase the public outreach and visibility of ASEM.

Participants also had the opportunity to meet a large number of young people from India who participated in the Young India National Summit, that was held concurrently at the same venue (Taj Palace Hotel) on 25-26 March 2016 in New Delhi. ASEM participants were welcome to attend the Young India Summit on both days.
