Since 2015, the Global Eco-Innovation Forum has served as the flagship annual platform of the ASEM SMEs Eco-Innovation Center (ASEIC), promoting sustainable and innovation-driven growth for MSMEs and start-ups across Asia and Europe.

Co-organized in 2026 with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) and the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), the Forum will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, under the theme “Accelerating Green Competitiveness for MSMEs and Start-ups: Eco-Innovation, Market Access, and Sustainable Growth.”

As sustainability requirements continue to evolve, the Forum will explore how MSMEs and start-ups can turn these challenges into opportunities for eco-innovation, stronger competitiveness, and greater access to global markets, supported by digital and AI-enabled solutions.
