A Senior Officials’ Meeting on Trade and Investment (SOMTI) preparatory meeting was held in Beijing at the Ministry of Commerce of China. Senior officials or their representatives from China, European Union, Republic of Korea, Lao PDR, Mongolia, Myanmar, Netherlands and New Zealand attended the meeting.
Participants had informal discussions on priorities for the relaunched ASEM economic, trade and investment cooperation, as well as other arrangements for the upcoming SOMTI.
