Tuesday, 1 March 2016 sees the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) turning 20. For the past 2 decades ASEM has played a pivotal role as a forum for dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe.

The aim behind the creation of ASEM was to show that Asia matters for Europe and Europe matters for Asia.
