ASEM Traveling Exhibition: Connected Histories, Shared Future

14 October 2014

Connected Histories. Shared Future is a traveling exhibition which examines Asia-Europe relations aligned with the priorities of the Asia-Europe Meeting, through the past and present activities of ASEF and the EU Centre in Singapore.

Commemorating ASEF’s 15th anniversary, this year we bring you a Travelling Exhibition entitled, Connected Histories. Shared Future.

This exhibition hints at a future where Asia and Europe are equal partners, sharing ideas, resources, spaces, creativity, learning, ambitions and a rich heritage. It celebrates 15 years of efforts to bring closer two diverse, vibrant and vital regions by ASEF and the European Union Centre in Singapore. (EUC)

ASEF, the only institution of ASEM, invites you to join this journey from the colourful past, through the critical present and towards a shared future.

The exhibition was opened by former Prime Minister of Singapore and Emeritus Senior Minister Mr Goh Chok Tong at the National Library Building in Singapore on 17 May 2012. The exhibition will be available for viewing at various libraries throughout Singapore until November 2012, when it will make its way to the 9th ASEM Summit of Heads of State and Government in Vientiane Laos.
