“As we celebrate the ASEM day, Viet Nam joins other members in affirming the important role of ASEM as a leading inter-regional cooperation mechanism connecting Asia and Europe for peace, stability, prosperity and sustainable development. 

Viet Nam attaches particular importance to and believes in the great potential of the Asia - Europe partnership.

As the Regional Coordinator of ASEAN, Viet Nam will be working closely with other regional coordinators and members to build on ASEM past achievements, foster closer collaboration on priorities areas and strengthen Asia - Europe partnership amid this challenging time”.
