The ASEM Green Growth Forum concluded in Hanoi, Vietnam last 4 October 2011. H.E. Mr. Vu Van Ninh, Deputy Prime Minister of Viet Nam stressed the importance of Green Growth as mankind’s future development pattern and called for ASEM’s greater efforts and cooperation towards green economies.

Participants shared the view that green growth initiatives should engage all stakeholders including the governments, the private sector, the public and the media, and that a low carbon society will require the involvement of the private sector.
