The 8th Meeting of the ASEM Working Group on Customs Matters (8th AWC Meeting) took place in Siem Reap, Cambodia from 19-20 March 2014.

The 8th AWC was officially opened by H.E. Dr. Pen Siman, Delegate of the Royal Government in-charge of the General Department of Customs and Excise.

There were 44 participants from 27 ASEM Member States namely: Austria, Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Denmark, European Commission, Finland, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lao PDR, Latvia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, and Viet Nam. The WCO’s representative was also attending the 8th AWC as a capacity of observer.
