ASEM Day 2026
1 March 2026
The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) is a unique, informal platform for political dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe. As ASEM marks its 30th anniversary in 2026, this milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on the importance of dialogue and the value of connections built across the two regions. Since 1996, ASEM has provided a space for partners to exchange views, build understanding and foster cooperation across a wide range of issues, based on mutual respect and equal partnership.
Records and visibility are important in helping raise awareness of ASEM’s role and outcomes. In this context, the ASEM InfoBoard (AIB) serves as the official digital platform of ASEM. Developed in 2004 and administered by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), AIB was established as a repository for information on ASEM meetings, activities and past initiatives, for access to government officials and the public, the AIB has since expanded its format and approach to become a broader and more engaging website.
The Community tab offers curated articles related to Asia and Europe under ASEM’s three pillars – political, economic and social. More recent features – the Topic of the Month and AIB Podcast series – provide users a more interactive way to gain perspectives from Asia and Europe on topical issues of common interest and highlight cooperation between the two regions.
